Treasures

I love it when I wake up in my old bedroom at my parents' house. The first thing I do is go after nostalgic treasures of my childhood. Mom isn't much of throwing-away-stuff either.

Some of the things I found:

 

Letters from friends, over the years... (reading them made me blush)

...my ukelele

 

 ...gorgeous grey pumps (how could I forget?)

Project nr. 1

The last few days it has been raining A LOT. Usually I get really bored, but since I found some interesting DIY blogs, rain has never been more welcome.

First, check out Hine on Etsy. Inspired by her fun felt cases for iPhones, iPod's and cellphones, I made a sample cellphone case, just for me. Next time around, I'm sure it'll look fabulous.

Don't know what to think though. Dresses are lovely, shoes are even better, but that Flashdance outfit at the end makes me wonder a little bit more...
